One of our favorite book bloggers from the Portland area, Amy Baskin, who writes mostly about children’s books at Euphoria: That Kick I Get From Kid Lit, visited with Northwest Booksellers at their annual convention last week to moderate a discussion about how bloggers and booksellers can work together. Baskin put together the whole thing, inviting Portland author and blogger Cindy Hudson (Book by Book: The Complete Guide to Creating Mother-Daughter Book Clubs, Seal Press, 2009); Gabe Barber, founding blogger for Reading Local: Portland; and Carly Sascha Cohen, a bookseller at A Children’s Place in Portland. Amy is a real star. Check out her blog. It’s highly recommended.
