The bombings at the 2013 Boston Marathon affected the Pacific Northwest bookloving community; authors, booksellers, and readers were there. Adrianne Haslet-Davis, a dance teacher in Boston, and her husband Adam Davis were victims of the second bomb. Adrianne lost her left foot and part of her leg.
