Kids at a highly reputable high school are disappearing, and no one wants to talk about what’s happening. That’s because everyone knows these kids are being chosen for a choice of a lifetime: more cash than they’ve ever dreamed of or . . . nothing. If you take the cash, then you’re signing up for a lifetime of servitude to your billionaire overlords. Naturally, folks make the wrong choices and things get weird. It’s a Chuck Palahniuk novel, after all. Plan accordingly.
