Shop at any (or all!) of the three Third Place Books locations in Seattle on Saturday October 21, 2017 to benefit hurricane relief in Puerto Rico.
From Third Place Books:
The scope of the damage wrought by Hurricane Maria is tragic. More than 80 percent of the residents still lack power: that’s the equivalent of more than four Seattles. One in three people can’t access clean water. It’s going to take a long time and a lot of money and effort to rebuild.
We’ll keep it simple: we’re hoping you’ll join us in making our own community effort. All three Third Place Books locations are donating 20 percent of their sales THIS Saturday (10/21), to Hispanic Federation’s Unidos Disaster Relief Fund.
We all feel like we can’t do much on our own, but together our work adds up, and this weekend you can contribute just by getting an early start to your holiday shopping!
