If you follow nwbooklovers on twitter or facebook, you may have seen about this already. But it’s so fun, we wanted to give it more than 140 characters!
The folks behind Independent Bookstore Day (the national party at indie bookstores on the last Saturday in April) are creating a Literary Map of the US, and they want your help! Nominate and the vote for the best/favorite/quintessential book set in your home state.

We have some help here on our site; you can search by “books set in WA” or “books set in the PNW,” and so on… We try to remember to tag! Then we have tags for “AK authors,” “OR authors,” and other states in our region, so that might come in handy, too. Plus there’s the NW Authors section of our website to jumpstart your brains even further.
We’ll be looking for your suggestions on the Bookstore Day sites, but feel free to bring the discussion to the comments, too.
