Admittedly, this post is not about books, but it is about a town that has one of our favorite bookstores, and that store is part of all this fun. In fact, this store sits below a lovely little literary-themed hotel, The Innsbrucker Inn, and the proprietor of both of these establishments happens to be the town’s 2009 Royal Lady of Autumn Leaves, and she’s definitely part of all this fun. So when you want to book your trip to Leavenworth, Washington, which you will after watching the videos, book your stay at the Innsbrucker and spend at least a little of each day at A Book for All Seasons. You’ll have to work it in–with all the golf, rafting, biking, fishing, shopping, and general Bavarian-style street revelry–but you’ll be better for the break.
