Bill Farley, former owner and current resident expert at Seattle Mystery Bookshop, has won the 2010 Willo Award from the Northwest Chapter of the Mystery Writers of America. The Award is given to the person who has done the most to promote Northwest writers and their work. Farley opened Seattle Mystery in 1990 and sold the store in 1999 to former employee JB Dickey, who still employs Farley as his part-time right-hand man. You can read a complete history of Seattle Mystery here on the store’s web site.
Congratulations to Bill, to Seattle Mystery, and to the wonderful authors at the NW Chapter of the Mystery Writers of America.
