Every Wednesday, the Pacific Northwest Booksellers Association publishes the regional bestseller list. On Thursdays, we celebrate Thursday Themes to shine a spotlight on some of the books from the list and give our brains a different way of thinking about books.
This week’s bestseller list has a Pacific Northwest Book Award winner at #1 on hardcover nonfiction. (Watch for author Omar El Akkad’s essay on this blog tomorrow!) Several titles on the hardcover nonfiction list address the historical context of some current events. Maybe we’re all trying to understand what’s going on– and how to do better.
One Day, Everyone Will Have Always Been Against This Omar El Akkad (#1 Hardcover nonfiction)
Everything Is Tuberculosis John Green (#3 Hardcover nonfiction)
Separation of Church and Hate John Fugelsang (#7 Hardcover nonfiction)
1929 Andrew Ross Sorkin (#8 Hardcover nonfiction)
