Every Wednesday, the Pacific Northwest Booksellers Association publishes the regional bestseller list. On Thursdays, we celebrate Thursday Themes to shine a spotlight on some of the books from the list and give our brains a different way of thinking about books.
This week, there are some snowy books on the list. Those of us who work in bookstores heard that the recent snow on the east coast has impacted some shipping, so we’re reminded that the supply chain is not as robust as one might hope. Please, if you have a specific title in mind for holiday gift giving, reach out to your bookstore before December 10 to ask about ordering it for Christmas! This should give ample time to order in. Please also remember that if a book is out of print or between printings, your friendly local bookseller has many wonderful options on their shelves; they’re happy to help you find an alternative if your first idea isn’t available.
In the meantime, get in the festive mood with these snowy books!
