On Wednesdays, the Pacific Northwest Booksellers Association Bestseller List is published. Every week, we love to see what books have been most popular in independent bookstores around our region. As we peruse the list, we ponder patterns. Then we present this weekly feature: Thursday Themes.
In recent publishing history, the first big hit book with fancy, sprayed edges that I remember was The Fourth Wing first edition. The fall offerings have several books with special editions. If you want to collect them, it’s a good idea to buy them when you see them because reprints don’t always have the extra flair.
