Oh, booklovers! This Saturday, August 17, 2024, is Bookstore Romance Day!
Online events actually start tonight, Friday August 16, with the kick-off Romantasy Party at 4:00 PM Pacific (7 PM Eastern) on Zoom.
Virtual online events are free but do require registration. Many stores are also celebrating with free or gift-with-purchase treats in-store. Find participating stores worldwide. There are virtual events online Friday, Saturday, and Sunday this year.
On Sunday, Seattle-area bookstores are in the spotlight with the “Behind Closed Doors” panel 9-10 am Pacific! Becca Westergard of Island Books in Mercer Island, WA and Jen Simonic of Queen Anne Book Company in Seattle, WA will moderate a discussion with authors Jean Meltzer, Erin La Rosa, Preslaysa Williams, Virginia Heath, Jayne Denker, Lily Chu, and Sarah Beth Durst about lower-spice romances that deliver.
