Fireside Books and their community in Palmer, AK are hosting a Storybook Scavenger Hunt July 1- July 31, 2024, with a party August 3rd for participants and prizes.

Join us for our first ever Storybook Scavenger Hunt!
Take a trip through Palmer’s local businesses throughout the month of July to enjoy All Aboard the Alaska Train by Brooke Hartman [,illustrated by John Joseph]. Challenge yourself to find all 26 train cabooses hidden in each location. (For an extra dose of fun, can you find the hidden rabbit on each page of the book?)
You can pick up an event pamphlet at Fireside Books, Backcountry Bike and Ski, and the Palmer Visitor Center. Collect all the signatures from either route to be entered to win a prize at our end-of-event party on Saturday, August 3rd from 12:00-1:00pm at Fireside Books.* If you complete both routes, you will be entered twice!
Turn in your completed forms at Fireside Books by 12:00pm on August 3rd to enter the drawing.
