On Wednesdays, the Pacific Northwest Booksellers Association Bestseller List is published. Every week, we love to see what books have been most popular in independent bookstores around our region. As we peruse the list, we ponder patterns. Then we present this weekly feature: Thursday Themes.
Our weekly regional list indicates titles that are not on the national bestseller list with an asterisk (*). This week, we found it striking that eight out of the top ten of the early and middle reader bestsellers are bestsellers in the Pacific Northwest but not in the rest of the country.
