Every Wednesday, the Pacific Northwest Booksellers Association publishes the regional bestseller list. On Thursdays, we celebrate Thursday Themes to shine a spotlight on some of the books from the list and give our brains a different way of thinking about books.
You may have noticed that the PNBA bestseller list comes with asterisks. This week, there are many asterisks! Why? Asterisks indicate that the book in a given position on the list differs from the national bestseller in that position. There are 35 titles across our lists this week that are not similarly on the national indie list. As PNBA Executive Director Brian Jeunemann wrote to us, “Doing our own thang!”
