A fun, fictional bio of a country superstar, like Loretta Lynn and Dolly Parton, making her last tour due to health issues. A moving portrait of a woman trying to break through a patriarchal industry and the pratfalls she endured.

In March, novelist Stephanie Clifford came back to the Pacific Northwest (she grew up in Seattle but lives in Brooklyn now) to celebrate her latest book, The Farewell Tour. It was a delight having her visit so many stores, seeing signed copies pop up, and watching enthusiasm for this great novel grow and grow.
