Celebrate with Third Eye Books at their new home, 2518 SE 33rd Ave Portland, OR 97202 (at Southeast Division Street and 33rd Avenue).
KGW8, the Portland area NBC-affiliate, did a story about store owners Michelle Lewis and Charles Hannah, their store’s history, and their exciting next steps in the new location. The store continued to build its following online during the pandemic through its website and online recommendations.
We can’t think of a better way to kick off the start of summer than a visit to this self-defined “biggest, baddest and blackest anti racist bookstore in the Portland.” The grand opening celebration and ribbon cutting will be Sunday, June 20th 2:00 – 4:00 pm. Author and track and field star Tianna Bartoletta will be there to sign her memoir, Survive and Advance.
