Here in Oregon, we’ve got plenty of independent bookstores to celebrate. This year, we’re highlighting bookstores in the Portland suburbs (check out our previous guides to independent bookstores in Portland and throughout Oregon).
We limited this guide to brick-and-mortar stores in Clackamas, Multnomah, Washington and Yamhill counties that are currently open to the public. This guide doesn’t list business hours because some stores are allowing the public inside only by appointment or at limited times. Call before you go to confirm a store’s current status.
