Some sad news from Another Read Through in Portland: The store lost its lease, so will need to move out before the end of the month. Owner Elisa Saphier hopes to find another location and reopen soon, but in the meantime will have to move out of the Mississippi Ave space, probably with a last day around January 24, 2020.
The store will be continue book groups in a local cafe and will explore the possibility of doing pop-ups around town along with the offsite events they already do. They will still have their online store, anotherreadthrough.indielite.org.
Because of the impending closure and move, the store is trying to sell as many books as possible, so readers should swing by soon.
Other bookstore owners nearby should email Elisa for information about fixtures available, such as shelves (interior and wall mounted), armchairs, folding tables, spinner racks, a roll-top desk, folding chairs, and a podium.
Please stop by the store or email Elisa to sign up for her store newsletter to get emails about the store’s next chapter as plans develop. You can also follow the store on social media:

We will miss the gorgeous home for books that Elisa created at Another Read Through on Mississippi Ave, and we wish Elisa all the best in finding a new place to share the love of reading.
