Roundabout Books in Bend, OR started an indiegogo campaign to help keep the bookstore, which opened in 2016, healthy and growing. The campaign’s flexible goal is to reach $40,000 in the next month; as of this write-up, they are over a quarter of the way to their goal.
Check out the snazzy campaign they’ve designed, including fun perks for supporters. Perks at different support levels vary, but include some great thank you gifts like a free drink coupon (at the $25 “Coffee lover” giving level) and a sleek 22-oz Hyrdo Flask logo tumbler, reusable silicone straw, and reusable totebag (at the $150 “Preservationist” level).
Here’s the statement from the store’s indiegogo campaign:
Roundabout Books opened in the growing Northwest Crossing community of Bend, OR in late 2016. Though we’ve had a promising start, the upfront costs of opening a new bookstore and cafe are considerable, and it’s time to pay off our Small Business Loan. Every campaign contribution will be matched by a corporate sponsor and by Roundabout itself. Together we can ensure that Roundabout remains part of this community for generations to come.
