On Thursday, February 14 at noon, the Oregon State Capitol Foundation (OSCF) Speaker Series Presents Oregon author Dede Montgomery and her nonfiction book, My Music Man. The event is free and will be held in the Hearing Room at the Capitol Building in Salem, OR.
Dede Montgomery brings her personal family history to the Capitol in the telling of her book, My Music Man. Montgomery will also weave in stories of her family roots which trace back to William Willson (the man that named Salem, and namesake of Willson Park.) This talk will also be streamed online at www.oregonlegislature.gov.
Montgomery will sign books at the presentation, and books will be available for purchase from the Capitol Store (a bookstore and souvenir shop located right inside the Oregon State Capitol Building!).
Another Read Through in Portland regularly carries My Music Man and will host a reading for Dede Montgomery for her upcoming novel in May 2019. Ask for Dede Montogmery’s books at your favorite independent bookstore.
