Sanae Ishida celebrates her third children’s picture book with a special promotion starting this Saturday at seven Seattle independent bookstores:

Sanae is dropping off an amazing hand-made kame (turtle) submarine like the one Little Kunoichi, her grandmother, Ba-chan, and other friends ride in Ba-chan: The Ninja Grandmother at the each of the above participating stores. Anyone who finds the kame sub in one of the stores can get a free candy “money” treat from inside. While supplies last, with the purchase of Sanae’s new book at the store (signed copies where available!), customers can also get a free special treasure box from the author.
