Author Jason Reynolds is the official spokesperson for the 5th Annual Indies First celebration of independent bookstores! On Saturday, he’ll be supporting his local bookstores in Washington, DC as a celebrity bookseller, but authors and booksellers have great things planned all around the country.
The American Booksellers Association compiled an interactive map so you can find Indies First celebrations near you. You can also watch the hashtag #IndiesFirst on social media or just swing by your favorite bookstores; even if a store isn’t doing anything super special that day, you can still show them some love!
