Velkomin! Enter the feasting hall of Norse Mythology. Grab a fist full of meat and a horn full of mead. Gather close, the night is deadly cold, but the fires are lit, and many a yarn is about to be spun. Perhaps a few tales might be new to you, or some you may already treasure. Very likely at least one will sound familiar, but I’ll venture you say you may have not heard them told quite like this. Norse Mythology is an adaptation of Scandinavian legends for a modern reader. This book doesn’t cover the entire body of Norse folklore, of course, but it’s an enchanting introduction. Magic is made, muscly men dress up in drag, hands are bitten off, battles are won and lost, and all while the universe is buzzing. Góða nótt, see you in Valhalla.
