I read this book in a day and stayed up late in the night to finish it. Magical and dark, this book was everything I wasn’t expecting. I knew next to nothing when I started reading and right away, only 100 pages in I knew I would be obsessed with this book. River, which is not her real name, is a lot of who I am and the way she spoke is very valiant. She is not afraid of much which I loved. Each and every Grace was mystical. I just kept wanting to dive deeper into their lives and understand their character more. Thalia and Fenrin, I felt were more closed off than Summer and I just kept wanting more, more, more! The mystery aspect of this story was beautiful and completely sucked me in. Laure Eve wove this story and planted many twists that I never saw coming. Lots of surprises and jaw-drops. Everything just kept me wanting, and Laure Eve is beyond a phenomenal writer. She simply sees the world in a different point of view that really leaves me awestruck. I absolutely cannot wait for the sequel (which I heard is in Summer’s POV)!!!
