“We had a customer come in last week and say it was his birthday, hand us a $20 bill, and [tell] us to use it to buy books for the next kid who came in the store. The photographs explain the story. We love our customers!”

On his birthday, a customer gave money to Broadway Books, asking that they pass it along to the next kid to come into the store. The next day, two lucky siblings were the recipients.

The kids used the money towards a copies of The 5th Wave and Wreck This Journal. I love that they both remembered to wish their benefactor a happy birthday.
