Finally, I got a chance to read Her Final Breath by Robert Dugoni. I had to wait until my wife and her sister read it (they loved it!).This is the second book in a series featuring Seattle Police Detective Tracy Crosswhite and her police teammates. It was worth the wait.
Another serial killer is loose in the Seattle area. As Tracy and her team follow the clues, they begin to realize the killer has been active for many years but nobody yet had put the concept of a serial killer together. The victims are prostitutes and/or exotic dancers. Tracy’s investigation leads to her suspension from her job and then puts her own life is in jeopardy.
The promise of quality police procedurals made in My Sister’s Grave, the first Tracy Crosswhite novel, continues. The author is a lawyer but his expertise is not criminal law. He has educated himself in this field by consulting with experts in the world of violent-crime-solving. He imparts his knowledge so gained to us, his readers.
