My mother bought this book when I met Nina LaCour, Gayle Forman, and Deb Caletti at a book signing. I was mainly there for Gayle Forman as I had only read her books. When I started this book I was going in blind, not knowing a single thing about it.
Caitlin is left alone when her best friend, Ingrid ends her life. Caitlin pushes everyone away and sort of closes in on herself. She wanted answers to questions that simply cannot be answered.
I loved the way each of the characters tried to get to Caitlin and how they would not put up with her anger at herself. How sweet Taylor loved her. How understanding Dylan was. I loved how Caitlin’s growth in this book inspired me. Each of the relationships she made and healed was pleasing to read.
This book warmed me. I recommend this book to anyone. I believe everyone should read it.
