Do you remember six-word memoirs? Well, the staff at Village Books in Bellingham, WA is compiling ten-word book reviews!
Now, this doesn’t mean you can’t still enjoy a traditionally substantial New York Times review or a snack-sized Kirkus review. But the ten-word reviews are like an amuse-bouche for the brain.
Having struggled to whittle down my impressions of a book to fit on a 3 x 5-inch shelf talker, I have great respect for the ten-word reviewers. What about you, reader? Care to try your hand at a ten-word review in the comments?
