Face Out
The Other Woman’s House
by Sophie Hannah
June 16, 2014

It’s past midnight, but Connie can’t sleep. To pass the time, she logs on to a real estate website in search of a particular house. As she clicks through the virtual tour, she comes across a scene from a nightmare: a woman lying facedown on the living room floor in a pool of blood. But when she returns to show her husband, there is no body, no blood-just a perfectly ordinary room, with a perfectly clean beige carpet.
I rarely read mysteries because I always end up guessing the ending before it happens. This book was a complete shock from page one. Hannah worked so many complicated plot twists into this story that ten pages to the end I still had no idea how she could possible wrap it all up. But she did wrap it up, and it was amazing!
