“In The Lion’s Game, John and Kate opposed Khalil as the latter tried to kill the pilots who led an aerial attack on Libya that killed most of Asad’s family. One pilot survived. The Lion hates failure almost as much as he hates Americans. He had vowed revenge on the pilot Chip Wiggins plus John, Kate, and the rest of their team. The Lion’s plan to kill Kate becomes one of the most innovative murder attempts I have read. He has plans for John that really don’t seem like fun either.
“The task force tries to save their own lives and those of possibly thousands of others as The Lion goes about his nefarious business in post 9/11 New York City (about 3 years after). The search and the climax are heart pounding. The body count is high. This book is not for the faint of heart. It is for readers of great spy vs. spy thrillers. As in his previous books, DeMille does provide his humorous moments.
GO! BUY! READ!”
