If you’ve never enjoyed the hilarious cartoons on his internationally notorious website Usedbuyer2.0 then you’re in for a spectacular opportunity. University Book Store’s secret treasure, the witty, whimsical imagination of used book buyer, Brad Craft, has been somehow confined between two book covers and is now on sale as The Serial Doodler. Every book craze, promotion gimmick, bookselling dilemma, and literary giant gets the Craft treatment in almost 300 cartoons. To launch this little pencil-drawn feast of literate humor, Brad’s skills will be on display in a BOOKSIGNING EVENT: a powerpoint presentation about powerpoint presentations (or something else equally humorous) on the last Tuesday of February. Quite modestly, Brad has created something unique and filled with the feisty, literature-loving effervescence he brings to all his bookbuying transactions at Seattle’s largest independent bookstore. Let’s celebrate the outrageous bookish humor of the droll, delightful Brad Craft.– Nick from University Book Store, Seattle
