Late Night Library, the non-profit behind those great podcasts, is now accepting submissions for the 2014 Debut-litzer Prizes in the categories of fiction and poetry.

Winners will receive a cash award of $1,000 and a featured appearance on Late Night Conversation. Literary judges will discuss winning books on Late Night Debut.
Debut books first published in North America between January 1, 2013 and December 31, 2013 are eligible in fiction and poetry. Authors, agents, publicists, or publishers may submit entries.
Entries must be published in English and available for purchase in either hardcover or bound paperback book form.
Eligible Books: Debut novels, short story collections, and novellas are eligible in the category of fiction. Debut books and chapbooks are eligible in the category of poetry. A debut is defined as a first book published within a category. First books by authors who have published books in other categories are eligible.
An application fee of $25 is required for each submission. An additional processing fee required for online payment (click the appropriate link below for more information).
