This is gorgeous! It will make a perfect gift for my park ranger friend. I might have to get an extra copy for myself!

You know that trilogy of dinosaur pop ups by Sabeda and Reinhart? You’ll get them from my cold dead hands. That’s how much I like a good pop up…

Wow…having been to Volcano, Olympic, Grand Canyon, and Rainier, I can’t wait to see more. Having a book like this will serve as inspiration to get quickly to the rest

A combination of two of my favorite things, pop-ups and national parks! What’s not to love???

We love going to the National Parks; Yellowstone is my favorite, Yosemite is my husband’s…love Olympic, the Grand Canyon, Joshua Tree, Crater Lake, John Day Fossil Beds, Fort Vancouver, San Juan Island, Craters of the Moon. Our son was busy fighting a wildfire at Roosevelt Lake this summer. I grew up on the East Coast; this would be a great opportunity to share some of the favorites from my youth with my grandson: Gettysburg, Valley Forge, Hopewell.

I’d like to think I’m the generous type who would give this as a gift, but the truth is I want to keep it for myself! I use pop-up books in storytime and I think this would be a great addition to my collection, for kids and grownups 🙂

What a stunning book! My 11 year old niece is a budding paper artist and loves to make her own pop-up books. I would be thrilled to give her this book and share just how far she could take her creativity! We took her to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons this summer perhaps this will inspire further park adventures for her.

This book looks amazing! About three years ago my wife and I decided to see as many of the National Parks as we can. So far, we made it to Yosemite, Craters of the Moon Monument, Grand Tetons, Yellowstone, Glacier, Mt. Rainier, and Niagara Falls. We hope to add Zion, Bryce, and the Grand Canyon in 2014. In addition to loving travel books, we are big fans of three dimensional art. America’s National Parks: A Pop-up Book would be a wonderful addition to our book and art collections.

From the Great Smoky Mountains to the Grand Canyon to Glacier National Park and more, this amazing pop-up book showcases some of the best natural environments that our country has to offer. The art by Dave Ember is spot on and the complex pop-ups from Bruce Foster will wow kids and adults alike as they rise over a foot off the page. This book will make the perfect gift to any nature lover.
