Yesterday, almost everyone we spoke with was having a problem with their computers. Our distributor was having server problems. Our computers weren’t doing online ordering. Kids were acting crazy. A whole section of kids books was mysteriously sticky. Customers couldn’t find the list of books to order they thought they’d brought. Then there were more computer problems.
What’s been going on? I don’t think it’s just that it’s summer and kids are out of school so our brains are feeling a little softer and our schedules have gotten a little less predictable.
One customer explained to us that Mercury is in retrograde. Almanac.com offers this astrological advice for now until mid-July: “When Mercury is retrograde, remain flexible, allow time for extra travel, and avoid signing contracts.” That might be tough.
