Chuck Palahniuk walked away with apparently nothing more than a sore neck when his car was struck by a careening semi while the author was pulling out of his driveway east of Washougal, Washington Friday morning. The former truck mechanic has seen the underside of a lot of big rigs, but not laying on their sides hurtling down the road toward him.
Palahniuk‘s next project is the Invisible Monsters Remix book and West Coast tour, set for June. The I.M. Remix adds new material and design elements to fulfill his original vision for the 1999 novel. You can pre-order the Remix from St. Helens Book Shop or catch the tour at Seattle’s Town Hall, July 24, sponsored by the University Bookstore.
