M. Allen Cunningham's New Project
November 16, 2011
M. Allen Cunningham is asking for help launching his newest book project, Date of Disappearance, a limited edition collection of ten short stories illustrated by Portland artist Nathan Shields. There are two days left to help fund the Portland author's book at the fundraising site United States Artists. A $25 pledge gets you a signed and numbered copy of the collection, which offers several stories that have been previously published in literary magazines.
“I see the finished book being kind of an art object,” Cunningham says online pharmacy

Date of Disappearance will be available in selected independent bookstores, exclusively (no Amazon, no national online retailers). A big fan of indie stores, Cunningham says that on his previous book tours he “became convinced that to walk into any little independent booktore in any town is to go straight to the heart—the cultural heart—of that community.”
Cunningham's debut novel, The Green Age of Asher Witherow, published by Unbridled Books, was selected as a #1 Book Sense Pick by booksellers nationwide.
