Twenty-six indie bookstores in Washington will participate in a book drive that begins tomorrow (Saturday, July 16) and will help bring A.A. Milne and Mo Willems and Alexandra Day and Bonnie Becker into the lives of low-income children. Head to one of the stores listed here, and buy a kid’s book (or several), which will be passed on to children who need them. Some of the stores will also donate a portion of their proceeds from the sales to the book drive. The opportunity lasts through July 31 and is sponsored by Page Ahead and Northwest Book Lovers.
