Jack Prelusky’s poetry for young children has been a favorite of mine for so long, I’ve just about memorized all of the poems from this collection. They are so much fun to say, they nearly sing themselves:
Little pink pig in Arkansas
Danced a jig with his mother-in-law
She wore silk and he wore straw
Little pink pig in Arkansas
