The memoir You Know Your Way Home is a true story about a woman married 5 times, secretly chasing killers and missing persons, until she comes to a 3-way collision with a brash mystery man, an abrupt therapist in a padded room and a revered Lakota medicine man. The narrative contains unforeseen twists and turns and traverses true crime scenes, missing persons, addictions, and mystical and unbelievable experiences that become quite believable.
Suzanne’s candor in recounting her experience of addiction and recovery is born of her conviction that true healing comes from sharing one’s story. Suzanne is a regular guest on Portland’s 105.1fm The Buzz drive home program.
A big THANK YOU to Suzanne Jauchius for sharing her story in You Know Your Way Home. Normally, I pick up a book to help me fall asleep at night. I found myself going to bed early so I could lay in bed for hours reading this great story. I was done after three nights and have never been tempted until now to “re-read” a book! I want more and am hoping that Suzanne will come back with a continuation.
I do not belong to any book clubs but if anyone reading this is planning a book club discussion on this book, please send me an invite!
