Jonathan Evison carries a lot with him. Lucky for us, he frequently puts it all down and heads into the woods. It’s not that we don’t want him around. On the contrary, Evison is the kind of guy who puts others in a good mood just being in the same room. But like many of his characters, Evison needs to get away just to stay in touch. And when that happens, thoughtful characters with great connections are born, and we get a novel like West of Here. Read the Publisher’s Weekly profile of Jonathan Evison and overview of the forthcoming West of Here in “A Man and His Island.”
