One my favorite categories is British mysteries set in the 12th to 14th Centuries. My current favorites are series by Michael Jecks & Bernard Knight. Both are British authors whose publishers have decided NOT to send them to the U.S. Professor Knight is one of Britain’s leading forensic pathologists. Mr. Jecks is part of a travelling troup of medieval mystery writers that lectures on British life in the Medieval Period.
