I’ve been reading almost nothing but ghost stories for a month, in preparation for a month-long series of staff readings in October, but I’ve decided not to read such things at bedtime. So, from the top of the stack: The Forty-Five by Alexandre Dumas, God Says No by James Hannaham, Secret Historian: The Life and Times of Samuel Steward by Justin Spring, and, as always, two translations of Montaigne.
