The deadline is Friday, August 27 to nominate a book for an Oregon Book Award, presented by Literary Arts in Portland. To be eligible, the book must have been written by an Oregon resident and published between April 1, 2009 and July 10, 2010. “Work may be submitted by the author, publisher, producer or any member of the public. The entry fee is $40.00…A list of all eligible books submitted to Literary Arts will be posted on the Literary Arts web site on or before August 20, 2010.”
