Pacific Northwest Booksellers Association Executive Director Brian Juenemann and author Jeff Geiger June 2, 2017 at BookExpo in New York
Last week, we shared the news about author Jeff Geiger’s road trip to New York City to attend BookExpo to promote his new YA novel, Wildman (on sale today). With the support of over 100 booklovers, he made his goal: sponsoring his road trip with 5 miles for every preorder for his book reported and 1 mile for every $5 donated to the American Library Association.
Visit Geiger’s facebook page for great videos and posts from his trip. I was delighted to catch Jeff and Pacific Northwest Booksellers Association Executive Director (and nwbooklovers contributing editor) Brian Juenemann on Saturday in the American Booksellers Association members’ lounge at the Javits Center in New York at BookExpo! It was pretty fun to spot two guys from Eugene—as they spotted each other—amidst thousands of booksellers, librarians, authors, and publishing professionals. (Juenemann’s review of Wildman and an interview with the author appeared in Sunday’s Eugene Register-Guard.)
Congratulations to Jeff Geiger on a successful and safe trip, and especially on raising almost $4,000 for the American Library Association. Happy book birthday!
If you preordered Wildman, you can pick up your books today! If you haven’t bought a copy yet, pop by your local independent bookstore for a look at the book behind the adventure.
