Seattle author Garth Stein is launching his latest, Enzo’s Very Scary Halloween, at Secret Garden Bookshop in Ballard in Seattle. In keeping with the title, the shop presents Halloween in July, complete with costumes and trick-or-treats.
Just think: You can pick a costume that doesn’t have to work under a rain coat! Something with wings? Maybe a costume based around a bathing suit? Or a test run on your wizard robes for July 31? You might enjoy browsing online for some inspiration. (Ah! Toddler Strega Nona alert in that link!) This Halloween-in-July party sounds like just the thing to cure the summer blahs.
