Following some scary warnings from my husband’s doc about prediabetic status, we decided to get healthy this fall. So, we read a book that had crossed my radar recently, Eat to Live: The Amazing Nutrient-Rich Program for Fast and Sustained Weight Loss by Dr. Joel Fuhrman. We are on week 5 of a vegan diet and feeling great and loving the recipes in it. For lunch, I’m having a curry-type vegetable soup and fruit salad . What’s not to like about that?
Correction: We are on Week four and combined weight loss for the two of us is 22 1/2 lbs. I’ll not tell you who lost more.
