Attention Clallam County Teachers!
Teachers in our community come into the bookstore quite often to buy books for their classrooms. They are often paying for these books out of their own pocket. Port Book and News would like to share this cost of getting books into the hands of our children, and extend that opportunity to the community as well. You can donate to the store’s Books for Clallam Classrooms paypal fund.
Effective Immediately, teachers in CLALLAM COUNTY will receive a 30% discount when purchasing books for their classrooms. We will require proof of current employment with the school district (District employee ID, or a current copy of the information portion of a pay stub are sufficient). This discount will also apply to books that are not currently on our shelves – in most cases we can order titles and have them in store in 1-3 weeks.
Please spread the word, and together we can foster a love of reading in the next generation of Clallam County children. Help us share the load!
