On Wednesdays, the Pacific Northwest Booksellers Association Bestseller list is published. Every week, we love to see what has been most popular in independent bookstores around our region. As we peruse the list, we ponder patterns. Then we present this weekly feature: Thursday Themes.
Last week, stores sold a lot of books with Christmas themes. As we hit the days when bookstores can’t restock before Christmas, please keep in mind that some things might be sold out at your local bookstore, but your local booksellers have many wonderful books they would love to share with you and your gift recipients! Gift cards and preorders plus “On its way for you” cards are good options, too.
