Every Wednesday, the Pacific Northwest Booksellers Association publishes the regional bestseller list. On Thursdays, we celebrate Thursday Themes to shine a spotlight on some of the books from the list and give our brains a different way of thinking about books.
Last week was wild, but this week, we’re all a-flutter about birds, either in the title or on the cover. We have mockingjays, crows owls, many backyard birds (thanks to Amy Tan), a lot of dumb birds (thanks to Matt Kracht), and more. We did a similar theme last fall, but there’s been a lot of change since September 2024.
