On Wednesdays, the Pacific Northwest Booksellers Association Bestseller List is published. Every week, we love to see what books have been most popular in independent bookstores around our region. As we peruse the list, we ponder patterns. Then we present this weekly feature: Thursday Themes.
In some parts of the region, it has been raining cats and dogs. On our bestseller list, there are quite a few dogs and cats to be found, too. There’s a cat on a gun, a cat in a cafe, and a cat dressed like a cowboy. We have a dog dressed as Dracula, dogs with make-believe injuries, and a tomato-stained superhero dog. Take a look at the covers below. Can you spot them all?
